Adidas Home of Soccer transformed BMO Stadium into a celebration of culture, fashion, and the beautiful game.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup officially kicked off on June 11th with a Mexico vs. South Africa watch party at Adidas Home of Soccer in Los Angeles, and 19 ENT co-founder Nic Van Luven and I were there to capture it.
When we got the invitation from Adidas, which included the adiCup tournament, watch parties, and Peso Pluma's performance, we knew it was the perfect opportunity for us. As storytellers and sports fans, events like these sit at the intersection of everything we love: sports, culture, community, and media.
While we captured content through 19 Social, the social-first division of 19 ENT, our goal extended beyond social media coverage. We wanted to create something that felt closer to a mini-doc. We didn't arrive with a story already written. Instead, our responsibility was to find it by capturing the moments that mattered.
One of the biggest takeaways for me was the blend of soccer and fashion. I was amazed by how much a jersey represents beyond the game itself. It's identity, community, creativity, and personal expression. Throughout the event, Nic and I were constantly drawn to the unique styles and fashion-forward looks inspired by soccer culture. Jerseys weren't just sports apparel, they were stories, memories, and conversation starters. It wasn't just about the game. It was about bringing people together, something that Adidas does very well.
For us at 19 ENT, those are the stories we love to tell: moments that showcase culture, connection, and what's possible when communities come together around a shared passion.
